ShopMy Review Why I Switched From LTK And How It’s Already Paying Off

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I’ve used LTK (LikeToKnow.it) for years to monetize my content. But a couple weeks ago I signed up for ShopMy in the name of research… and I’m honestly blown away by how much I love this platform.

My Experience Switching From LTK vs ShopMy

I’m not new to affiliate marketing. I’ve been linking products on LTK for years and it’s been a cornerstone of my income, I’ve made over $200,000 on the platform alone, gone to LTK Con, met the team in person, and work with brands through their internal portal a few times a year.

My links still generate thousands of clicks every single week and are still earning me passive revenue. 

So I’m not leaving LTK behind, it’s still an important piece of my strategy. But ShopMy feels fresh, more intuitive, and better aligned with the way creators work today. 

I literally just joined this week and already feel like I'm making more money on ShopMy.

• Scale: I’ve earned over $200k there, and it still drives thousands of clicks weekly.

• Legacy: brands and shoppers are familiar with the platform.

• Events: LTK Con was a great way to connect with their team and community.

• Link Grabber: their widget is significantly faster than ShopMy’s, which I still prefer for quick linking.

Verdict: For me, this isn’t about picking one. It’s about using both strategically. I’m leaning more on ShopMy right now because of the momentum, brand connections, and fresh features, but I’ll continue updating my LTK since it’s still a proven revenue stream.

How Commissions And Bonuses Work

When someone clicks a link on your ShopMy storefront and makes a purchase, you earn a commission from the retailer (at no extra cost to the shopper). Commissions vary by brand, but I’ve seen much higher percentages than LTK in certain categories.

I hit Ambassador in just three days. At this rate, Trendsetter is around the corner.

Why I Recommend ShopMy To Other Creators

Here’s the bottom line of my ShopMy review: I wish I had joined sooner.

The platform is intuitive, the commissions are competitive, and the opportunities for gifting and bonuses make it genuinely fun to use. It’s one of the few creator tools where I feel like I’m gaining more than just a new dashboard, I’m gaining visibility and connections with brands.

At the end of the day, affiliate income is about building passive revenue streams while doing what you already do: sharing things you genuinely love. For me, ShopMy makes that process a little more fun, more rewarding, and more exciting than LTK ever has. 

LTK has largely been stuck in the past, the UX hasn't changed much since I joined circa 2016. ShopMy is easy to use, more and more people are shopping over there and is a no-brainer to start adopting into my content creator business. I don't plan on fully switching over, but I do plan on using both moving forward.
